Right now I’m in love with two people.. Gordon Parks and Charles Mingus.
I just finished Parks’ autobiographical work “A Choice of Weapons”. It’s incredibly thoughtful. Not only was he an amazing photographer, but he directed Shaft, wrote music, and was a gloriously mustached man.
And Mingus… can one be any cooler?
