I got a collection of Buster Keaton shorts, thinking At last I will witness the work of one of the worlds greatest silent actors!
But, lo and behold it was a collection of his talkies! What a bust.
They aren’t bad at all. But I feel like I’ve been jipped.
So, for now at least, Charlie Chaplin is the greatest silent actor of all time.
